The group and this website are dedicated to the nostalgia and people of the places and times we had then... and bringing them to NOW!

 

The 80’s-90’s Hangouts Ch Ch Group on Facebook was started over 12 years ago and was initially designed so we in hospitality could save and share photos, memories and the good times we had basically archiving it.

The group was mainly for the Bars & Clubs like The Palladium – Firehouse – Romanovs etc but has been extended to other hangouts The Square – Wizards – The Doghouse etc almost all of these are now gone due to the Earthquakes.

We have grown in numbers on the page and we are sitting at more than 9550 members all with the same goal remembering the good times

Last year we had our 1st Reunion and it was a success, attracting 580 people through the doors with a night of Old School DJ’s, a band, food & beverages and bar memorabilia. We even had a video game arcade!!!

This year The Tannery have stepped up and offered us their Location to use and we are holding another reunion event on Halloween Night - 31st Oct 2015

Tickets are $50 each and all profits will be going to KIDSCAN. Money will be going to four local Decile 2 schools on the Eastside to give the children a good start in life.
